Research Interests:
Upon graduating from the Virginia Military Institute, I knew I wanted to participate in research that directly serves the veteran community. This is why the work we do in the Christ lab is so exciting! My current research is focused on optimizing skeletal muscle implants that enhance native tissue repair and regeneration. I employ several technologies to accomplish this endeavor including bioprinting, imprinting, and bioreactor preconditioning. When I’m not saving the world, I dabble in woodworking, painting, and exploring Cville!
